Fort Toulouse–Fort Jackson Park is home to dedicated groups of living history reenactors who bring the French colonial and American frontier eras to life. Whether portraying 18th-century French civilians and soldiers or the militia units of the Creek War, these volunteers help visitors experience the sights, sounds, and daily routines of the people who once lived here.
French Colonial
Fort Toulouse
La Compagnie Franche de la Marine du Fort Toulouse recreates the everyday life of French Marines, their families, and Native allies during the colonial era. Monthly garrisons, annual encampments, and a commitment to authentic material culture.
